“I purchased this product to protect my new piercings from getting knocked while my stylist washed my hair. My helix piercing is taking an extended time to heal as is common in cartilage. If it gets knocked a little it is irritates and painful.
I only use 1 ear cover / cup with the extender that would connect the 2nd ear cover. This piece provides the necessary tension to cause suction to seal the ear cover(s). It was effective. I purchased the pink one.
I put it on gently to get it to fit my ear without irritation. I could use a bit larger cover / cup to get so it would not touch the piercing. That might cover my scalp and hair too much. My stylist made sure no hair was under the cup / ear cover.
I recommend this product for its effectiveness. It was pricey. I expect it to last a long time justifying.”

“I used these with silicone earplugs inside and then on their own. It’s a little freaky cuz you feel the water but so far this had offered the best protection. “I’ve had problems with my ears for most of my adult life when water gets in. I tried many things with different level of success.
I found those earmuffs and what can i say, it is a real game changer.
First, i feel 100% protected unlike other kinds which i had to “mount” over my earlobe. They never gave me 100% protection,
With those ones not a single drop of water got in.

“I get ear infections easily when I get any amount of water in my ears. I’ve used ear plugs in the shower for a long time but lately have been getting infections anyway. I used these covers in addition to my plugs and they work pretty well at keeping the water away. There are three tiny slots on the bottom of each ear cup (presumably to let any water that leaks in to drain out?) and you have to be very careful that those point straight down or water will flow in them as you wash your face and hair. Only 4 stars because I think they’re grossly overpriced for three pieces of plastic and also because they’re a tad uncomfortable. They have to fit tightly to keep water out, so the discomfort is tolerable for an adult who understands that, but I’m gonna guess many kids wouldn’t want to wear them. But overall a very serviceable product.”
